We won the lottery...April Fool's

The kids have been playing April Fool jokes since they got up this morning.  We all slept well last night although Teresa only did until 4:30 AM when the alarm went off in her room and scared the crap out of her.  Luckily nobody else in her room woke up.  I didn't hear it but did hear the ice maker dropping cubes.  Chris was better this morning so Teresa opted to use the antibiotic drops she already had for his ear and see what the day brought and he seems to be fine.  We spent the day here at both pools.  This morning we went to the "bucket" pool I call it because it has the giant buckets that dump every few minutes and lots of other water shooting items and a slide.  After lunch we went to the Pirate Pool where they had pirates doing kids activities most of the afternoon. The girls got their hair wraps done while Chris and Teresa went to play miniature golf. When Chris got back he and Paige did a swim contest with the pirates in the pool and won coins they will collect to see who has the most at weeks end.  I suppose the object is to keep the kids involved so that they can win a prize.   By 2 PM it was very hot (88) and you had to get in the pool to cool off.  Tomorrow is supposed to be even warmer..oh goodie.

I left the pool before Teresa and the kids and came back and got in the shower.  Teresa told Lindsay she could come back because I was hear but didn't hear her knock .  When she went back to the pool she couldn't see Teresa or the twins and went to pieces.  I guess a lady saw her crying and asked her what was wrong.  She took her to an employee who took her to the "loss prevention officer" in the main office.  By this time Teresa had come back here and I asked where Lindsay was and she said I thought she was here and she tool off running and came back with a hysterical Lindsay a few minutes later.  I felt so bad for her as she was so scared.  It took us a half hour or more to get her calmed down.  We all got showered and went to a little Italian place that Teresa spotted that was in the same shopping center where we went grocery shopping.  This area is obviously not on the way to any of the parks or attractions so we bypass all the traffic and it is not crowded.  We were able to get a table and the food was good and the kids enjoyed their dinners too and we came back to the villa.  Teresa took the kids to go play ping pong and golf and I am doing the first load of towels for the week and uploading photos from today.  The girl that did the kid's hair today also works at Universal and was giving us some helpful hints...don't go this week.  She said the wait time for the prime rides is up to 3 hours...really?  You pay $85 a person to stand in line for 3 hours hmmmmmm that means you get to ride maybe 4 or 5 things the whole day for $85...I don't think so.  We are going to talk to the kids tonight and see what they want to do.  We may drive to Cocoa Beach tomorrow or Clearwater so they can go to the beach.  I kept thinking this was Saturday all day.  I will be a day behind all week now.  It is Palm Sunday and we missed it.  They did know it was April Fools Day though.....
